+  * need to keep the fabric off the bottom of the pan, flat spots may have formed (found a small grate that will work for this)
+  * need to weigh the fabric down so steam bubbles don't form lifting the fabric out of the dye (have a basket with weights that will work)
+  * need to be above 100C for an extended period, ~45 minutes minimum
+  * streaking seems to be limited to one side- turning cushion forms inside out might give a better result
+  * first batch was small cushion, 50ml dye to 2L water, hue looks good aside from the streaking, trying a machine wash to see if the streaks go away
+  * 2nd go on the first cushion added 4L water but no dye (so original 50ml plus whatever went into the fabric in the first round)

+  * basket to keep fabric off the bottom in place, weighted basket above in place
