Halyard Winch

Halyard winch is held together not by the single top mounted flat-head screw, but by a C-clip that the screw and cap cover. To service the winch:

  • Remove the top screw and cap.
  • Carefully place a length of duct tape on the C-clip to prevent it from flying away.
  • Gently pry the C-clip off with a small flat head screw driver.
  • Slide winch elements off shaft- careful not to lose an internal washer.

Rear Winches

Rear winches are held together by a single top flat-head screw.

Port side winch is held to the mount by 4 flat head counter-sunk screws.

Starboard side winch is held to the mount by 1 counter sunk flat head screws and 3 counter sunk socket head cap screws (Allen wrench screws).
