Description:

Clan is an early model IW 31, designed by Sparkman and Stephens, built in 1969 at the IW-Varvet yard in Henån, Sweden. Clan was raced to moderate fame in the early 70's and featured in advertising literature for IW and SHE 31's.

She's an ocean racer with beautiful lines, and with a %44 ballast to displacement ratio can take you absolutely anywhere safely. We have worked hard to make sure she's a safe and sea-worthy vessel.

The internal layout includes berths for 6 people, and is the “family” type layout with galley along the port side. It's a great galley and perfect for cruising.

Clan needs nothing to sail away right now, and her flaws are generally cosmetic. Work to upgrade or keep her in shape is happily discussed. The cold storage and electrical system are currently being upgraded, and are yet to be completed. The interior needs cosmetic attention but is quite cozy.

Clan lies in Svanemollen Havn, please contact me at +45 23 38 67 02 to have a look.
