Description:

Clan is an early model IW 31, designed by Sparkman and Stephens, built in 1969 at the IW-Varvet yard in Henån, Sweden.  Clan was raced to fame and featured in advertising literature for IW 31's and SHE 31's.  Both spinnakers with the "151" insignia from the original brochures are included and in good condition.

She's an ocean racer, with a %44 ballast, and can take you anywhere safely.  We have worked hard to make sure she's a safe and sea-worthy vessel.  

Clan needs nothing to sail away right now, and her flaws are generally cosmetic.  Work to upgrade or keep her in shape is happily discussed.  The cold storage and electrical system are currently being upgraded, and are yet to be completed.
